Resident Evil 2 had been the most anticipated game of the year. This game was released during late January and instantly proved to be a best seller. Capcom has been successful in creating a much improved sequel of it's original game Resident Evil. The overall graphics, sound and detail have improved considerably.

The 2 disc game begins in the small town of Raccoon City, either as Leon or Claire, two daring youths who get through a world of horror and jeopardy. As the game progresses the incredible plot behind the game is unraveled. The game story, itself is a page-turner and will keep you at the edge of your seat for hours. The character graphics are spectacular, unlike it's predecessor. The full motion videos are comparable to those of Final Fantasy 7 and feature revolutionary graphics and detail.

The game also includes a unique extended game play feature which means that after defeating the game with one character, you can continue with the other, but the game will be completely different. All in all, the game has lived up to it's expectations and is a definite must-have.

Leon S. Kennedy

Leon is an idealistic rookie cop. He burns withg the need to protect and serve, and life as an cadet was an eye-opening experience. While reckless and brash, Leon is certainly not as naive as his demeanor, would suggest. He is highly qualified for his new job with the RPD.

Claire Redfield

Claire is a light hearted, articulate, modern woman. While she can be a bit of a tomboy, she is somewhat wild. Self-confident and extroverted, Claire is typically the first person to try something many others would not.

Sherry Birkin

A lonely and insecure 12 year old, Sherry is quite mature for her age. She is very shy when she speaks, she lacks self-confidence and always has the feeling she is lost. Sherry's parents are too wrapped up in their work to heed the emotional needs of their child.

Ada Wong

Leon stumbles upon this mysterious woman who is quite secretive yet, at the same time, a professional and skilled investigator. She can also come across as condescending, and has the tendency to talk down to those she deems inferior to herself.
